Three new Research Projects selected for funding

We are pleased to announce that the REAL Research Hub has selected the following three research projects for funding:

• Plant Response Test Interpretation and Comparison: Investigating performance of the PAS-Specified Tomato Plant Response Test and Spring Barley Test on Quality Compost
• Evaluate possible alternative area-based methods of assessment for plastics
• How the benefits of applying compost and digestate to soils can be accounted for under the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol

The projects were evaluated and recommended by the Research Panel in July 2022 and approved for funding by the Governance Committee in August 2022.

All three projects are expected to commence in early 2023.

A Tender Invitation Document (TID) for each project will be circulated in the coming weeks. If you are interested in tendering for the work, please keep an eye on our Tender for a Project page.
